2000 years of patriarchal suppression has led to the supremacy of "reason" and alienation from our earthly roots. We all have become "reasonable ignorants", living in a virtual world of thoughts, concepts, images, ideas, opinions and judgements. While we think that we "can create anything ourselves" we actually are cut off from reality. The Church has crippled our health by depriving us from our bodies, our vitality, our subtle energies, our femininity, our emotions, our lust for life, our love, eroticism and sex, our satisfaction and our connectedness with nature. It is the cause of the fact, that we had no choice but turning to individualism and materialism. We exploit the Earth, instead of living in harmony with Her.

The greatest taboo in our Western civilization is Nothingness as the Ultimate Reality. It is the ground cause for our existential fear. This inability to "die" has led to an obsession with "growth", "progress", profit, accumulation and exploitation. Stagnation of the company's monthly "growth figures" are giving cause to hysterical reactions. "Never look back" is the motto of an entire culture. It is equal to permanently separating yourself from the Source. This Source proves to be a Cosmic Vacuum! The irony: not the Vacuum is killing you; on the contrary, She proves to be the Cauldron of ever-lasting renewal and regeneration. Avoiding Her will do! By not being able to die to the old, ego is blowing itself up, eventually leading to stress, depression, agression and burn-out.

Maybe some steps back in HerStory will help. First of all, the Great Mother has been there from Eternity. She is the Non-Dimension beyond God and the universe. In Her, everything without exception is dying while continuously being reborn. She is the Destroyer, the Maintainer and the Creator of all Life. From the beginning mankind has learned to respect Her, living in harmony with this Her Cosmic Law. It considered death and rebirth as the most natural Power in the entire universe.

This insight is still engrained in our genes. Deep down we all know, that our current way of life is violating Her Cosmic Balance. It is a vicious circle. Because of being afraid of the "revenge" of the Mother, "punishing" us for our outrageous transgressions, we even pursue our selfish goals with greater grimness. "Growth" has become an obsession. It has become extremely pathological in the sense, that we hope that the Mother will eventually "redeem us" through a great cataclysm*, which indeed may become a self-fulfilling prophecy....

* The Christian apocalyptic disease. 

Mankind has never lost its awe for the Mother. At crucial times in history it is always She - in different qualities, appearences and forms - Who intervenes with human life, individually and collectively. How is it otherwise possible, that after 2000 years of patriarchal dominance, more people than ever before flock to Her Shrines, Temples and Churches? A true renewal of Mother Worship is emerging. In Hinduism you will find the Maha Matri or Matri Devi in Her countless manifestions, of which Durga is the most powerful. She is crushing the Earth- destroying patriarchal demon. In Christianity "Mother of God" is increasingly understood literally. At the same time the popularity of the Black Madonna is rising sharply. Why? Because "black" is the color of the Original Great Mother, the Cosmic Womb that promises true Regeneration. In Buddhism, Kuan Yin is much more popular among common people than Buddha is. Taoists revere the Tao as a Valley (Womb). In Judaism the Shekinah (Sophia) is enjoying increasing interest among progressive Jewish women (also men), while even in Islam the quality of Allah as the Merciful is considered to be central in the faith. Last but not least, all kinds of "pagan" groups (Goddess/ Wicca) are on the rise, reflecting the need for Earth-centered spirituality.

In these most critical of times the Mother has once again revealed Herself to the world. It is proof of the seriousness of our situation. This time She has shown Herself as Ultimate Reality: the Original Mother of the Universe. She is beyond existing religions, while at the same time inspiring them. As Unity in Diversity She is the Ultimate Source of Inspiration and Liberation. No, we are neither softies nor a minority group. Adding up all Mother-oriented people of all traditions we come to many millions of people world-wide! It is a limitless potential for a World Mobilization. It is exactly what we are aiming at: bringing all Mother devotees together, starting a "Long Green March" through the institutions: governments, international organizations, religions and yes, big business, with the aim of Healing the Planet. To this purpose I have founded the UNIVERSAL MOTHER COUNCIL. It is an horizontal ad hoc umbrella network, uniting Mother devotees, groups, organizations from all faiths, all cooperating with each other, while keeping their own identity e.g. remaining fully independent.

We have two objectives. First, we want you to subscribe to a "Maternal World View", based on "feminine/holistic" values like insight, connectedness, self-lessness, cooperation, care, love, community, sustainability, peace and justice. Secondly, we want you - obviously only if you feel like it - to engage yourself with the 10 Steps of the Healing the Planet Initiative: A New Spirituality, A New Psychology, A New Health Care, A New Tradition, A New Society, A New Economy and A New Earth.....thus Restoring the Wholeness of Life. Moreover, let your leaders (politicians etc.) know - write letters, ask for interviews, organize events e.g. demonstrations - that we are coming!
