Steps-Towards-Stopping-Terrorism

Dear friends. Everybody want to live in peace. With so many people longing for it, it MUST be possible to create a majority, that is going to realize it. In order to stop terrorism, priorities have to be formulated. It won't work
without compromises, though.

First of all, the mechanism behind the increasing gap between rich and poor has to be abolished. How can you expect to live in peace, if social justice isn't established
on this earth? All talk is in vain, unless we thoroughly transform
our economic system.

Even politicians increasingly agree, that a strong community is the best guarantee to saveguard security. This corresponds with our idea about the necessity of a self-governing community. Terrorism has no chance in a bottom-up
organized Community Democracy.

At the same time we have to work on reconciling religions. This can be achieved through formulating "unity in diversity" in which everybody can recognize him or herself. We call this "Existential Consciousness".

The cry for help of young people is particularly distressing. Instead of offering them vision and a future, we marginalize e.g. criminalize them. What is needed is a total transformation of society, from spirituality to education, from employment in decentralized community projects to healing the environment.

In order to achieve this, powerful myths should support the self-determination of individuals, groups and communities. The soul of the West isn't dead, yet. Our re-connecting to the tradition of the "Green Man" and the "Wise Woman"
is such an attempt.

In particular, our youth should feel optimistic of founding families. The pre-conditions are a.o. taking away the burdens of early debt, the security of work and community, introducing mutual support and a health oriented health care.

Obviously, this is seen from the perspective from rich countries, mainly. The situation in the South is much worse, though: environmental deterioration, poverty, hunger, water shortages, diseases, war, disintegration of society and mass-migration.

A moral revival, in which the entire North is mobilized toward intercultural solidarity, is unavoidable. F.i. every student should - as part of his or her training - spend
at least one year in a developing country, helping people to achieve their self-determination e.g. developing compassion.

The urge to establish a New Health Care is felt by a majority of the population. Millions of people have turned their back to regular medicine. It is time that these personal initiatives become institutionalized. We are taking te lead here.

Above mentioned can only be achieved if people recognize their surrogate search for happiness. Lacking true fulfillment - Being - people have fallen back on having. They suffocate in their own accumulations. Establishing a new balance is the answer.

See: A New Spirituality

The question is: how can you expect this from people, who are collectively burn-out? Well, understanding the meaning of the decay, you start moving from the
periphery to the Center, "dying to the old", in order to become renewed.

Once your True Self is born, you will become part of the Whole, once again, starting to extend your achievements in your direct surroundings: family, street, neighborhood, commune, county, nation and the commonwealth.
