In Myra I fully understood the function of the Green Man
mask. It is really what we should call an "archetype". Its meaning is
transpersonal: "death and rebirth" as a cosmic law (drama) |

So I photographed all masks.
Because the Green Man used to be one of them. Among drama's and comedies, he represented
the (Dionysian) mysteries. Therefore, he is the most archaic of all, for he connects to
all previous stages of humankind's evolution |
